In the year of the 70-th birthday of the Great Victory in the history Museum of Ekaterinburg has prepared an exhibition, which is dedicated to the heroism and the feat of Sverdlovsk, which became one of the main centers of the evacuation of industrial enterprises, educational and cultural institutions; workers, civil servants, intellectuals and ordinary Soviet citizens, which for gruelling four years of war have dropped a considerable test.
By February 1942 in Sverdlovsk was posted almost 150 thousand evacuees who arrived in an orderly manner with businesses and those that have fled the war. In connection with such a huge influx of people, the city has experienced not only material but also enormous social tension. By the beginning of 1943 was evacuated every tenth inhabitant.

Forever…" offering his, not "military – Patriotic", but existential interpretation of one of the most tragic stories of national history.
The narrative of the difficult conditions of the hostel Sverdlovsk and evacuated, on lowlands, the high heroic manifestations of the human spirit is based, primarily, on the oral and written traditions of witnesses, photo – archives, as well as artifacts from the museum and private collections of the citizens. Among the items of witnesses: Swiss watches and documents, which exported from Kharkov; little girls corduroy bear Leli and works of Professor A. P George, rescued from Leningrad, etc.
