In April 2016 Museum of fine arts celebrates its 80-th anniversary. In celebration of the anniversary of the largest art museum of the Urals is preparing several large-scale and significant events, which will be the State Hermitage.
4-th of April is opening of the scientific-practical conference "Museum and war: the fate of the people, collections, buildings";
5-th of April is the Press conference announcing the joint projects of the Ekaterinburg Museum of fine arts and the State Hermitage Museum
5-th of April – the ceremony of awarding the winners of the prize. Vladimir Matveev "a clever verb;
6-th of April is opening of the exhibition "In the memory of the past for the future. The post-war gift of the Hermitage from the collection of the Yekaterinburg Museum of fine arts.
In addition to participating in events related to EMII, representatives of the State Hermitage Museum is planning to present at other venues, such as the Sverdlovsk regional Museum, the Presidential center B. N. Yeltsin Ural Federal University, and others.

A gift to the city will be a Grand exhibition project "In the memory of the past for the future. The post-war gift of the Hermitage Museum, the Yekaterinburg Museum of fine arts". Recall that after the Great Patriotic war, as a token of appreciation for their support and help in the rescue of the evacuated treasures, the State Hermitage transferred to the funds of Ekaterinburg Museum of fine arts, dozens of great works of art antique ceramics and glass, Western European and domestic painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative-applied art. Received from the Hermitage objects formed the decoration of our permanent exhibits, however, a significant part of the works not previously exhibited.
